Michael Mcgillicutty Biography
TheMichael McGillicutty joined WWE NXT season two with quite a legacy to continue. The third-generation competitor is the grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig and the son of "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig.
McGillicutty's father was well-known for his charisma outside of the ring and his perfect abilities on the inside. While he did not win WWE NXT season two, McGillicutty finished in second place, losing only to Kaval. While his performance on WWE NXT was not "perfect," the third-generation ring warrior was out to establish himself as a force to be reckoned with in WWE.
WWE Pro Kofi Kingston guided McGillicutty and helped him hone his abilities. Now McGillicutty has to take this experience and what he learned from Kofi to carry-on the Hennig family legacy.
While McGillicutty was one of the finalists of WWE NXT season two, he would ultimately lose to Kaval. Despite the gutting loss, McGillicutty resurfaced during Hell in a Cell along with fellow NXT alum Husky Harris to help Wade Barrett defeat John Cena. As a result of the attack by Harris and McGillicutty, Cena was forced to join The Nexus. Soon after, following repeated assists to Barrett's group, McGillicutty and Harris followed the multiple-time World Champion as not just WWE Superstars, but official members of the "N"-labeled warriors.
Looking to the future, McGillicutty's prestigious lineage and imposing presence will undoubtedly serve him well whether on his own or as part of a forceful faction.
